An SME business had commenced with rolling out a number of internal changes within their business, including changes in role for some staff members, changes to contracts of employment and other working conditions. Over the initial period things had not gone as smoothly as had been anticipated, and recognition of this had highlighted the need to seek external assistance in order to advise the management team how to move things forward in as positive a light as possible. Time For… met with the management team on a number of occasions in order to promote ideas as to how these changes and any future changes could be implemented with the greatest chance of the team as a whole buying into new ideas in as positive a manner as possible, with the consequential benefits to the business and its customers. As the consultancy process gained momentum the management team very quickly began to recognise why things had not been going smoothly initially, and quickly adopted new skills resulting in the new ideas being taken on board far more positively by their team.
